Con el fin de apoyar a personas con discapacidad motriz en piernas, Arturo Ernesto Negrete P\u00e9rez, Daniel Manuel Osorio G\u00f3mez y Erick Yuliel Zaragoza L\u00f3pez, estudiantes del Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional (IPN) construyeron un robot asistente equipado con ruedas omnidireccionales, un brazo rob\u00f3tico y una garra que recoge y transporta objetos de uso cotidiano.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los alumnos utilizaron la estructura del robot como repositorio de los componentes electr\u00f3nicos que dan funcionamiento al sistema, y el cual puede girar sobre su propio eje y orientarse hacia cualquier direcci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con la asesor\u00eda de los doctores Jorge Fonseca Campos y Alberto Luviano Ju\u00e1rez, docentes de la UPIITA, los polit\u00e9cnicos implementaron un sistema de monitoreo visual en tiempo real para que el usuario visualice el desplazamiento como la manipulaci\u00f3n de los objetos desde su celular.<\/span><\/p>\n

El robot es capaz de trasladarse en el espacio y puede sujetar objetos a una altura vertical de entre 60 cent\u00edmetros y un metro.<\/span><\/p>\n
