Despu\u00e9s de las protestas y preocupaciones, tanto de mexicanos como de extranjeros, por el impacto ambiental en la zona costera del caribe mexicano, la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat) inform\u00f3 que no aprobar\u00e1 el proyecto tur\u00edstico \u201cPerfect Day\u201d, de la empresa Royal Caribbean en Mahahual, Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n

Alicia B\u00e1rcena, titular de Semarnat,\u00a0 se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el megaproyecto no recibir\u00e1 autorizaci\u00f3n ambiental y a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que la propia empresa podr\u00eda cancelar el proyecto.<\/p>\n

“Perfect Day” contemplaba la construcci\u00f3n de un complejo tur\u00edstico y parque acu\u00e1tico en Mahahual, con playas artificiales, albercas, restaurantes y m\u00e1s de 30 toboganes.<\/p>\n

Greenpeace, ambientalistas y habitantes de la regi\u00f3n alertaron sobre las afectaciones a manglares, arrecifes y fauna marina de Mahahual, lo que podr\u00eda generar afectaciones severas a los ecosistemas costeros y marinos de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
