Un terremoto sacudi\u00f3 ayer 24 de junio a Venezuela, provocando da\u00f1os materiales, interrupciones en servicios y la activaci\u00f3n de los protocolos de emergencia en diversas regiones.<\/p>\n
El movimiento tel\u00farico ocurri\u00f3 durante la tarde y fue percibido en gran parte del territorio venezolano, as\u00ed como en pa\u00edses vecinos como Colombia.<\/p>\n
El Servicio Geol\u00f3gico de Estados Unidos (USGS) inform\u00f3 inicialmente un sismo de magnitud 7.1, aunque posteriormente actualiz\u00f3 a 7.5. Diversos reportes tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1alan que se registraron dos fuertes sismos con apenas segundos de diferencia, un fen\u00f3meno conocido como “doblete s\u00edsmico”.<\/p>\n
El epicentro se localiz\u00f3 en la regi\u00f3n centro-norte de Venezuela, entre los estados Carabobo y Yaracuy, mientras que el segundo movimiento fue m\u00e1s superficial, lo que increment\u00f3 su capacidad destructiva.<\/p>\n
Las autoridades venezolanas activaron mecanismos de atenci\u00f3n de emergencias y comenzaron la evaluaci\u00f3n de los da\u00f1os en infraestructura, viviendas y servicios p\u00fablicos. Medios internacionales reportaron afectaciones en distintos puntos de Caracas, incluyendo da\u00f1os estructurales en edificios y problemas en el transporte, mientras contin\u00faan las labores de inspecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
