El anuncio llega acompa\u00f1ado del sencillo \u201cSilencio\u201d, disponible desde hoy junto con un video musical. Asimismo, la banda irlandesa celebra 50 a\u00f1os de trayectoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grabado en distintos lugares y producido por Jacknife Lee, \u201cCarnaval De Luz\u201d es una colecci\u00f3n de 12 canciones que exploran temas de espiritualidad, amistad, libertad y resistencia frente a fuerzas oscuras que avanzan. En lo sonoro, hay ecos del trabajo m\u00e1s experimental de la banda combinados con una composici\u00f3n m\u00e1s estructurada en temas como \u201cThe Greatest Show On Earth\u201d, \u201cGlorify\u201d y \u201cMidnight Sunshine\u201d, adem\u00e1s del homenaje de 2 minutos y 35 segundos a la insolencia del surf-punk de los primeros tiempos que es \u2018Silencio\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las ra\u00edces de Carnaval De Luz se remontan directamente a los dos EP de seis canciones que U2 lanz\u00f3 por sorpresa y que fueron aclamados por la cr\u00edtica a comienzos de 2026, grabados durante el mismo periodo creativo que el nuevo \u00e1lbum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esos lanzamientos, Days of Ash y Easter Lily, siguieron el calendario lit\u00fargico, por lo que Carnaval De Luz se sit\u00faa, se planta y baila antes que ellos en la l\u00ednea de tiempo. El Carnaval, una celebraci\u00f3n de la carne, \u00abcarne\u00bb, antes de la abstinencia de la Cuaresma, un periodo de reflexi\u00f3n, y el renacimiento de la Pascua.
