Hace 72 a\u00f1os ocurri\u00f3 un hecho hist\u00f3rico: el 17 de octubre de 1953 se otorg\u00f3 a las mujeres mexicanas el derecho a votar y ser elegidas para todos los cargos p\u00fablicos. M\u00e1s tarde, el 3 de julio de 1955, ellas ejercieron por primera vez su derecho al voto, marcando un antes y un despu\u00e9s en M\u00e9xico.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Este logro fue fruto de a\u00f1os de lucha y perseverancia, no solo para poder votar, sino tambi\u00e9n para abrir el camino hacia la representaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica: ser candidatas, diputadas, senadoras y, hoy, presidentas de la Rep\u00fablica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aunque los avances son innegables, la lucha por la igualdad y los derechos de las mujeres contin\u00faa.
