La Coordinaci\u00f3n Nacional de Literatura (CNL) transmitir\u00e1 este 4 de noviembre a las 5pm, v\u00eda <\/span>Facebook Live,<\/span><\/i> la charla virtual <\/span>La biblioteca de Alfonso Reyes<\/span><\/i>, a cargo del historiador y bibliotecario Omar Urbina Pineda.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el en vivo, el historiador dar\u00e1 una semblanza sobre la biblioteca personal de Alfonso Reyes, y explicar\u00e1 c\u00f3mo se conform\u00f3 el acervo actual de la Capilla Alfonsina, abierto permanentemente al p\u00fablico general.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSer\u00e1 una charla atractiva, interesante y muy vinculada a lo que es la Capilla Alfonsina como instituci\u00f3n: una casa y biblioteca, una casa y un museo, ubicada en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Javier Garciadiego, titular de la Capilla Alfonsina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alfonso Reyes fue un escritor y diplom\u00e1tico mexicano que escribi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 100 libros, compilados posteriormente en 26 tomos bajo el t\u00edtulo de <\/span>Obras completas<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Con sus estudios de preparatoria en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico y lejos de la biblioteca familiar, Reyes se interes\u00f3 en formar su propio acervo, el cual fue limitado al inicio debido a la escasa industria editorial mexicana, por lo que sol\u00eda pedir sus libros del extranjero.<\/span><\/p>\n

A lo largo de su carrera diplom\u00e1tica, siempre viaj\u00f3 acompa\u00f1ado de sus libros. En los \u201ca\u00f1os aciagos\u201d, tras la muerte de su padre, vivi\u00f3 en el exilio en Madrid y Par\u00eds, donde su colecci\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica creci\u00f3. Ya retirado y preocupado por el destino de sus vol\u00famenes, construy\u00f3 la hoy conocida Capilla Alfonsina, espacio que resguarda su biblioteca personal y sobre la cual Omar Urbina hablar\u00e1 en la charla virtual.<\/span><\/p>\n
